NTN established a 13,000 square-foot, full-time Test Laboratory in 1993. This facility provides direct customer support with the following capabilities:

• Detailed bearing-failure investigation that utilizes:
  • A full metrology lab
  • Scanning electron microscope
  • Grease contamination analysis
  • An array of fine-surface measuring instruments
• New and existing product testing with a wide range of machinery, including tests for bearing durability, efficiency/torque, and lubrication-life comparison
• New R&D projects with the goals of advancing bearing technology and increasing cost savings for our customer
